      Equity - their stock performance incredibly

      Cons

      Literally everything else. There is no consideration to build great products. It’s all about capturing enterprise accounts and trapping them in long contracts.

      easy work, good pay (if you know VMware...I came via acquisition where I was already doing the job.

      Cons

      So much internal reporting. You're basically a spreadsheet/tracker monkey. Soooo boring. Nobody cares about the customer anymore, it's all about PROFIT PROFIT PROFIT. Pretty lame for the VMware folks where we used to LOVE our custs.
