Pros

The RSU’s plan is not worth the waist of your time in this company.

Cons

The first company where there is zero career progression, inexistent HR, line of doom treatment and a one size fit all approach with customers and employees. Investing in the AI won’t have as much results if you do not invest in your people. Do not waist your time with this company. You will find something else that is worth your time and your professional efforts.

Pros

- Single source of truth for policies, Simple and Transparent Policies - Slow growth and No ambiguity around growth - Good renumeration across Geo Locations

Cons

- HR is like a mouth piece, Do not expect more than whats written, whether you talk to HR or chatbot its the same. - Generally prefer leadership roles in US only - Because they give good stock, the HR feels that they are doing a big favour

Ruined VMware completely

Pros

VMware was great, up until they started feeling the need to impress Broadcom with how skeletal a crew they could (barely) run on.

Cons

VMware's culture started going down the drain the moment Broadcom began circling it. Broadcom promised to keep VMware's cultural values intact; everyone knew they were lying. Good employees left in droves, and most were never backfilled. The last year I spent working at pre-acquisition VMware, during which my workload was increased to the point where I had no bandwidth to look for a job elsewhere, made me borderline suicidal. I practically begged my manager to lay me off, so I could at least have a few months' leeway before potentially losing access to the healthcare that keeps me alive. I'm thankful that I got laid off before the acquisition was complete, especially given everything I've heard about Broadcom since.
