      Too bad - great product but poor Senior management

      Pros

      Good local people that want to do the right thing but no support and no desire to change. The standard is "you don't understand we do it the Broadcom way."

      Cons

      Lack of advancement for good people and little incentive to makethings better. Everything outside of Irvine is operated like a unwanted stepchild and the bottomline is ALWAYS about money.

      Pros

      Get to work with top of the line equipment. Technical leads are impressive and provide a great wealth of knowledge and experience to learn from.

      Cons

      Very slow mobility in terms of career growth.

      Pros

      Great technology, great engineers. Benefits are great.

      Cons

      Vacation time are not recorded. Hence you don't accumulate PTO. I would have preferred accrued PTOs over "unlimited" PTO since you would have to request for PTOs to your manager. It's up to your manager to let you have PTO. It's a good gimmick accounting to wipe off PTO liability off the books. I would have preferred better 401K matching. It's half of what my previous company's matching.
