Pros

Abilit to set schedule, company car, cell, laptop

Cons

Management micromanage every aspect of your activity. Support resources are overworked and response time costs lost sales. Local management cannot be bothered during lunch hours when sales reps have time to talk. Inventory levels continue to shrink again costing lost sales. Pricing is usually high, costing lost sales. Negative office environment which results in push back at every opportunity where support is requested. Staff is under trained and those who are dedicated are all frustrated at lack of support. Stay far away.

Pros

Large compay, financially stable, steady work, average benefits

Cons

Brenntag has been very successful, however that success is not shared with the employees. It is always more, more, more, with less, less, less. They do not reward employees, so do not expect a raise. Brenntag is very cheap and greedy when it comes to their rank and file workers. Brenntag is OK is you need a job and some experience, but plan to leave as soon as something better comes along.

If you not sales, you don't matter

Pros

Large company that is financially stable and doing well. Internal promotion is possible and you can get jobs in other depots or head office.

Cons

Unless you are sales you simply dont matter. Wages are secret so everyone thinks they are the worst paid. Training involves telling you to work smarter and harder. The depots are under staffed and communication is poor up and down the line. Its a top heavy company with more managers than workers.
