Pros

nice building, good pay but no amount of money is worth the cost on health

Cons

very toxic data science culture, used to be good, but getting worse and worse over the years since COVID when half of the colleagues left. Some data science managers would ask colleagues to change data for positive business outcomes, gaslighting colleagues, lots of workplace bullying and harassment. while most of the data science managers, senior managers, directors of data science know very little about data science and machine learning. People fight for impacts and steal credits from each other given the limited promotion opportunities.

Pros

Excellent work environment with opportunities to grow your skills, travel and interact with colleagues from all over the world! Benefits also include Health insurance, Global Employee Assistance Program, Life insurance, Extra Leaves, Discounts & Wallet credits to spend on Booking.com products, Free access to online learning platforms, Development and mentorship programs to support career growth and more.

Cons

Booking.com environment is fast pacing and constantly changing, so employees need to be agile, able to adapt quickly to changes and resilient. People that find it difficult to work in such environment, might feel overwhelmed by multiple tasks/projects going on at the same time, the need to constantly prioritize and the volumes of new information/updates the local team needs to comprehend.
