      Good hard working people, nice office

      Pros

      Nice office. People on my team are quite competent. Free snacks and drinks. Total compensation is pretty good. The company is rapidly growing recently. Good place to work for programmers.

      Cons

      Work/life balance is not very good on my team: often people work at least 10 hours a day. Priority on my project is about making something for delivery rather than correct code. In the future maintenance would be a problem. Company is too relying on the arcane terminal to run their internal operations.

      Pros

      Free food, summer company party. Feels like a college environment, very young and youthful. Very cool building, lots of opportunity for growth and additional training.

      Cons

      There is a very linear career trajectory. In order to get to sales you MUST complete a year in analytics (glorified customer service)

      Pros

      Working for BB is good if you are looking for a not so fast-paced job in NYC. Compared to the IT jobs in the financial industry, BB is not as busy as others. The role of a programming job is also relatively better respected in BB.

      Cons

      NO cubicle, though common in NYC. If you are used to a typical computer industry job, you probably feel under a little tighter control with BB.
