      Pros

      Work/life balance is top. No stress. It's a giant company so you always get your salary+bonus even if you are a low performer

      Cons

      It's a giant organization. Difficult to be recognized. Hard to be promoted and generally offered new opportunities horizontal in the hierarchy. Lower pay compared to other chemical companies. If you are ambitious it's not the right place to work.

      The company has a German management style, which is mostly micromanagement. This stalls progress and hinders ideas to bloom. People work hard, but you wonder whether they work on the right thing, or whether it is just another feasibility study to make sure you won't get told off for doing something too bold. A lot of people have no mojo; they're just doing their jobs to get their pay checks.
