Pros

Nice bragging rights to say you are working at the largest chemical company in the world. The company is is very strong financially. If you take initiative you can deal with other parts of the world.

Cons

Forget about a career unless you are German. The current trend is the promotion of German females. The nest best thing is an American with a German last name. The Company is totally inflexible in every regard and this extends even to customer engagements.

Pros

The plant here is filled with experienced individuals who are happy to share their wealth of knowledge. Everyone also seems to understand the importance of a good work-life balance.

Cons

The large company structure and trying following all of the standards which exist can be intimidating. It also seems that technical roles are rewarded at a slower pace when compared with the business roles in the company.
