      BASF SE is the world's leading chemical company, and one of the most innovation companies in the world. Working in the HQ in Ludwigshafen was such a great experience.

      For working in BASF SE in Ludwigshafen in Germany, it is better to have a good knowledge of German language. Demanding environment.

      Pros

      I had four and a half fantastic years at Basf in the UK. They were a superb employer and are a great name in industry. It was unfortunate that my division of PCI was withdrawn back to Germany. Their technology and marketing could not be surpassed in the flooring and ceramic tiling market.

      Cons

      Possibly, just the sheer magnitude of a global giant made communications and localised decisions a little frustratingly protracted.
