Pros

Solid, stable company. Always moving forward, growing markets and opportunities. Better than average compensation, including benefits Size, scope and breadth of company makes movement and development of talent more likely

Cons

German-based company, with a European mindset (which sometimes conflicts with American methods and practices) The global business is clearly centralized in Germany, just as it is with American-owned and based companies. This can sometimes make for issues when styles and practices don't match. Europe and America do have differing philosophies on work in certain areas, some better, some not.

Good benefits

Pros

Good standard benefits (healthcare, time off, etc). But also lots of "Extras" like an onsite fitness center and classes, flexible hours, etc.

Cons

Lots of bureaucracy, employees are not trusted or empowered to make even minor decisions, constant fear of layoff.
