      Pros

      My role allowed me to stay very busy, very involved in communications with business leaders and work autonomously. I loved my job but didn't get paid enough

      Cons

      Flat management structure allowed no room for progression within my department, nor movement within other sectors of the business. ability to increase pay or responsibilities and earn recognition and reward were very slim

      Pros

      technically challenging projects (if you can get on them), peers are nice, potential for spot bonus for exemplary work (depends on your supervisor)

      Cons

      pay is at least 10% lower than competition, benefits are mediocre, working remotely is available but frowned upon, offices 20 miles apart refuse to integrate, no direction for advancement. I work 20% overtime just to meet salary equivalents of competitors. Annual increase is less than 2%, no Christmas bonus.

      Pros

      Great people, challenging work, and you aren't limited to what your job title states.

      Cons

      When there's little work to go around, it's bad news if you aren't a project manager of some sort or don't have a regularly occurring duty that needs tending to.
