      Nice ppl, Fair pay, demanding, bureaucratic, slow moving, career development available if you seek opportunities

      Pros

      I have been lucky to have nice and understanding managers. That said, they are also very demanding. Nice does not mean lenient. But you will learn alot if you work hard and they acknowledge hard work, verbally and monetarily.

      Cons

      It is very bureaucratic = many layers of approvals, takes weeks to get something simple done. This is very frustrating. In areas where they should hire more ppl to divide the work, they don't. They will just pile all this onto one person and still expect that person to perform well. It's a tough company.

      Pros

      Money is decent even if performance is mediocre; good networking opportunities; very involved in community service

      Cons

      getting mindshare for creative ideas that are not part of the "Applied way" is extremely difficult, and impossible if customers are not one of the top 3-5 in the industry
