Reasonably good comp Conveniently located in the middle of Silicon Valley

Cons

- Difficult place for women and minorities to build careers. All visible leadership roles are awarded to white males. Women are not expected to have speaking roles at meetings with Executives. - Recent cuts in staffing are driving interdepartmental friction and inefficiencies throughout all support functions.

Great group of Technologists and Engineers but the lack of career opportunities makes it a painful environment.

Intellectually stimulating employees in the business units, compensation is up to par with market standards, and the Wellness Center (gym/physicians housed internally) is a positive addition to the Santa Clara campus

Cons

Many political games- promotions based on relationships not performance, work/life balance poor-average of 50 hour work weeks, career opportunities are limited even if sought out, very little direction until the recent change in upper management and even still, it is most likely too late- it is a very slow moving company overall.
