Pros

Working for Apple gives you the chance to be part of a globally recognised company at the forefront of technology and innovation. You get hands-on experience with industry-leading products and work alongside talented people who are passionate about tech.

Cons

I’ve read many past reviews mentioning micromanagement at Apple, and unfortunately, it does seem to remain part of the culture even after many years. Management can sometimes feel overly controlling, things like strictly timed breaks and close supervision can make the environment feel less trusting. Sick leave and roster changes can also be difficult to manage, even when there’s a genuine reason. The workplace politics are real, and promotions often seem to favour certain people rather than performance. This makes some talented team members feel discouraged and less motivated to innovate, which is disappointing for a company known for creativity and excellence. Some employees appear to maintain good relationships with managers mainly through favouritism, which adds tension to the environment. Many team members express frustration privately but feel the need to appear happy on the surface. Overall, the culture could really benefit from more trust, transparency, and fairness, something that would make Apple’s workplace truly live up to its world-class reputation.

Pros

Great employee benefits(Medical Coverage for whole family, RSU, Fitness claim, ESPP). Work culture wise is dependant on store, every store community behaves very differently.

Cons

Scheduling has always been a challenge. The offsite team has their own algo, however even after constant feedback, that has been the biggest teething problem.

Pros

> Really good pay specially for Uni students > Amazing Employee discounts > I feel supported whenever I was working in the store > Once you get Apple’s mantra of selling the “service” and not the “product”, the job gets easier

Cons

> Long and sometimes stagnant 2-weeks training start > Hands down the busiest store in NSW. So chances of getting rude customers are high
