Balance between Development work & Operations. Good Learning opportunities. knowledge of different devops tools & latest technologies.

Cons

Can be hectic sometimes especially during On-call hours. Not core development role.

Pros

Fun, flexible work. Great people to work with. No timecard. Great pay. Lots of time off. No one but you sets your work/life balance.

Cons

No end to the work, there is always more to be done. 10 things need to be done, management knows you can only do 5 so they will ask for you to do 6. No one but you sets your work life balance. (yes this is a pro and a con)
