Pros

There is an extensive onboarding process. It ensures you are not "Thrown into the fire" and you have significant time to become familiar with the amazon culture and expectations in your role.

Cons

Initially, this onboarding process can seem distracting from your role. I am one month in and still feel like I have not contributed to the team. My time is spent completing trainings and onboarding tasks.
