Pros

A lot of interesting smart colleagues with backgrounds from all around the world to learn from (technically and culturally). Huge company , yet still allowed to own your own projects and try out things , just show that it makes sense using data. I work for Amazon Web Services specifically and enjoy having an own account in which I can experiment. Working on projects that have real impact to other people is very satisfying. Nice working environment.

Cons

A lot depends on your direct manager I switched manager a few times and really noticed the difference. One of my mangers was just trying to do too much things himself and due to that failed to perform his responsibilities as a manager (at least I felt that way for the parts I was involved in with him). He also would say he'd action things for you while not coming through. Under him it was also much more difficult to maintain a healthy work life balance. Probably without the time under this manager I would even have given a 5 star overall rating.
