Pros

The firm has a great culture that promotes collaboration and exposure to different projects and work to be done. There's always opportunities to grow and advance in your career with the firm growing and new projects being brought in. The people that work here are super supportive and have a wide variety of knowledge which can be really fun to work with. Benefits are great and they encourage employees to take time off. Highly recommend!

Cons

Nothing comes to mind as the work environment is great.

Pros

The people are great at AlixPartners. Usually, everyone will go out of their way to support you with training and to achieve your project goals. The company takes chances on college graduates which makes it a good place to start your career at. Benefits were also good during the time time I was there. Close to your starting date you will go through an orientation week in which they get you acclimated into the company. This is mainly for the consultants and not as important for the corporate services team. They also have great firm wide events.

Cons

The people is mainly where the good ends. The reason why I only stayed 1-year was mainly due to my compensation being extremely low salary wise within a corporate services team that I worked with as they relied on a higher than average bonus (up to 20% or more in rare cases) to entice you into staying. Additionally, they were not honest with their titles and responsibilities. They will have you doing mundane work while you carry a fancy title. For example, a senior analyst is considered a VP at AlixPartners. Finally, the work life balance just wasn't there. They provide you with a phone for a reason. If you aren't on the consulting side, you are a cost center and they don't care as much about you.
