Great pay, interesting and varied work, excellent access to senior leaders / mentors, good amount of time off (PTO + holidays + sick leave + sabbatical program), decent level of respect for family commitments, somewhat better job security than other firms.

Cons

Hours can be very long, travel can be intense, WLB can be rough on certain teams/projects. With fewer levels, promotions can be slower than other firms.

1. Good Place to Work This suggests a work environment that values employees' well-being, fosters inclusivity, and provides opportunities for growth and development. A "good place to work" often reflects: Positive Culture: A workplace where employees feel respected, valued, and empowered. Career Development: Opportunities for learning, skill-building, and advancement. Employee Engagement: Initiatives that foster collaboration, innovation, and a sense of belonging. 2. No Up and Out This reflects a philosophy that rejects rigid hierarchies or aggressive performance policies like "up or out," where employees must continuously ascend the ladder or leave the organization. Instead: Diverse Growth Paths: Employees have the freedom to grow in roles that align with their skills and interests without pressure to pursue promotions. Stable Environment: Emphasis on long-term career stability, allowing individuals to thrive without fear of being pushed out due to performance metrics or career stagnation. 3. Work-Life Balance A workplace promoting work-life balance emphasizes the importance of managing professional and personal responsibilities harmoniously.
