Cons

Dull leadership who is reactive rather than pro-active. Favoritism is a big deciding factor for promos etc.

In my experience, I have found those that actively seek out what they want, build the network to support their ambitions, and build a reputation of excellent client delivery can have a great experience at AP. Closed mouths don't get fed; those that wait to be told what to do will have a difficult time shaping the experience they like.

Cons

The job, particularly if led director/ partner is poor, can be demanding at the expense of sleep, weekends, and holidays. These, however, can be avoided with good project leadership.

flat hierarchy, lean teams can get things done efficiently, easy to make change

Cons

wish the benefits were slightly better (top 25%, in favor of “cash first” and if you want to have better benefits, you pay for that on your own)
