Pros

Firm leadership recognizes that the people are its greatest asset, something I have always known but has been shown in incredible ways these past few weeks. Integrity, mutual respect and an open-door policy. An exceptional employment experience for people who thrive and excel in an environment where people have the freedom to express ideas and viewpoints that may differ from the norm. The autonomous culture encourages a person to grow personally and professionally, furthering personal success and success of the firm, creating a pride of ownership and quality product.

Cons

Some systems need revisions/upgrades. Departments may not communicate plans or initiatives broadly enough, resulting in duplication of efforts. Slow to accept process change, even when current state is known to be cumbersome and inefficient.

Pros

Senior teams (although getting less senior with continued growth), above average compensation relative to peers, less face time culture

Cons

Very opaque in terms of career and compensation growth, very low to no emphasis on matching demand and resources based on locations

Pros

Good pay, solid folks in certain groups in certain pockets. AlixPartners has made great strides in improving the culture, but it takes alot to create and institute incentives and disincentives to foster a stable culture

Cons

Where do I start? The churn at multiple levels is higher than other shops. Lots of causes, but the key one has to do with bad incentives. Money over morals, feifdoms, nepotism, etc.
