Pros

Decent work-life balance if you don’t mind the occasional chaos. Salary is competitive enough to make you forget some of the nonsense. If you get a chance to work at Adobe, double-check with HR. Just make sure it’s not an ATS role. Although, Jobs are defined by the managers, and not all managers are terrible… some are actually capable of doing real work.

Cons

(IT/ATS specific): Work rarely connects with actual business needs and you’ll spend more time looking busy than actually delivering value. Clinging to outdated processes like they’re sacred relics while trying to convince everyone that management is “innovative”.

Pros

Great brand recognition, fun products, leading in compensation and benefits.

Cons

Chasing quarterly numbers, too big for organic innovation requires M&A for breakthroughs, very bureaucratic even for a large enterprise business.
