Pros

Health care, dental, vision benefits are great. Its a very good environment, very family like. The best place i have ever worked at. Major discounts with a lot of companies.

Cons

You have to watch what you do and say, because if you do the wrong things in your personal life it can cause a rift with the company.

Pros

Pay, benefits & prestige. Top pay for Class 1 Craft prior to new 2009 contract is $30.04 with 10% shift differential. Up to 4 weeks of vacation per year, depending on the number of years of service. Pay only deductible or copay for medical care - no insurance premiums. Pro-military and minorities.

Cons

Lots of pressure to complete many telephone line installation and repair tickets. All installation techs and most repair techs in own shop have been written up for lack of production as quotas are very tough to meet even for experienced techs.

Pros

Thee pay and benefits are great for any place in america. Most outside techs start out at 14 per hour and we top out at almost 30 per hour, plus any time that we work over 48 hours per week its double time... so 60 bucks an hour?? it can really add up. The medical, dental, vision insurance is completely paid for by the company and the deductibles are low. This may change after the next contract. The job is pretty easy though, most days I get to sleep in my van for up to 4 hours a day and still complete 5 jobs a day which is all you need to look like a superstar. Where else can you do that??

Cons

The 1st line managers are pressured by the second level managers to treat the employees like children
