I really enjoyed working for 3M. All of my coworkers were very kind and helpful, they valued work life balance and had competitive pay and PTO.

Cons

During my 3 years at 3M there were many rounds of layoffs within IT. during the last year of my employment there was 2 rounds of 200+ layoffs as they seem to move a lot of their IT operations overseas.

No career growth at all for IT professionals. It isn't a career, it is a job. No flexibility or work-life balance. You are an expendable resource. Poor management (company-wide)
