Above average pay for the area, standard benefits package. The work environment is usually not too hot or too cold, cleaner than many skilled trades jobs.

Cons

Everything else. If you are a skilled trades employee and only care about a check, this is a fine place to work. If you care about your skill set, or advancement, or continued learning, avoid here. They do not care nor invest in continuing education or skills improvement. Skilled trades are expected to be operators, train operators, do any task the operator wants including set up their machines FOR THEM, and when new equipment is brought in, you are expected to know how to fix it on demand without ever receiving even the slightest overview of the machine.
