There were no difficult questions. The CFO is very inexperienced and comes across as such if you've had exposure to other public company CFOs. And, he's also not compensated well for his position compared to peers in comparably sized companies. The people are really nice but this is not a mature company. HR seemed to talk more about their values in developing and leading talent than other execs do.
How would I address large company bias in a small organization?
The corporate development person was most concerned about accounting policies and procedures.
They talked to me alot about the direction and the next steps the organization wanted to take to grow and become more stable.
There were no difficult or skills evaluation questions.
There were no difficult questions asked. In fact, most of the discussions with the more senior people seemed to focus more on addressing an unseen list of tasks which this position would oversee.
