After the interview ends, I was told somebody will get me. However, I waited about 20 minutes and no one came. I left the interview room and most desks were empty because it was lunch time. I left without speaking with anyone from HR because they were nowhere to be found.

A lot of the interview process is you asking them questions, that show how much you know and what your values are. The firm appears to be very values based (or at least the team I was interested in was)
Questions can be grouped in the following manner: 1- Motivation: Why Goldman, why Technology Audit and why relocate to Poland (I was interviewing for Warsaw office) 2- General CV-based questions: This includes both your education and work experience. Any item on your CV is fair game. Know your CV like the inside of your hand. 3- Technology Audit questions: Interviewers really want to assess your understanding of IT risks and their impact on business. On this dimension, you are asked to i) identify possible risks, ii) how to mitigate these risks and iii) how to assess the effectiveness of these controls in both hypothetical scenarios and your past audit experiences. However, there are no questions on nitty-gritty details of the technologies involved; questions are rather high-level.
