Basically interview will testing the knowledge of the candidate on electronics subjects. How much understanding he/she has on the concepts .
This is the interview process for me. Totally 4 rounds, first 2 rounds at Vizag and next 2 rounds at Bangalore. I attended first round at Vizag. First round is written it covers all the basics from Diodes and it applications (clippers, clampers, rectifiers), Transistors, OP Amps, Digital Electronics, Zener Diode. After my B. Tech, I prepared for gate eventhough I didn't clear the gate but it helped to clear this written test. Second round is Technical round and they ask how we solved all the problems and they see for our technical basic knowledge. 3rd round is also Technical round they go much deeper for the questions we solved and ask some other technical questions. My interview is around 30 minutes and they asked in depth on the questions I solved eg. what if we change the direction of diode,what happens if the value of resistance is increased, Timing Diagrams. If you are good in electronics you can easily answer and finally hr they ask general questions and they see if we are really interested to join in company or not.
