1. Problems on String manipulation, 2. Finding the maximum difference between two elements in an array, 3. Problem related to prime numbers
Most questions were from the things put on the resume and nitty-gritty of programming languages, algorithms and data structures.
All the questions were technical. Asked: what is the difference between an Abstract class and an interface, what is the run time of a nested for loop, how does polymorphism work and what does it allows us to do.
Questions about projects. Difference between IPv4 and IPv6. Multithreading programming. Shell script.
Simple programming questions (ex. print out numbers divisible by 3), design questions (odd for an entry level position), bitwise operations, resume and project questions.
Find the intersection of two arrays
First 2 interviewers asked me about my resume and past experiences and course projects. Pretty much general discussion, nothing technical. 3rd one was a little different, no matter what I say he was never satisfied until and unless I say one very specific word that he's looking for (not even a synonym will do). He asked about general java, multithreading, abstract classes, TCP, and JDBC. 4th one asked me in detail about my internship experience and past projects and then about JDBC, SQL and multithreading. HR was just about company benefits and culture.
I described my project and they were impressed.
