Senior Software Manager Interview Questions

349 senior software manager interview questions shared by candidates

Since I was under an NDA, they just ask you a bunch of questions they send you a prep sheet for. Like robots. They ask their scripted garbage and then repeatedly, for hours on end ask you "lets suppose that didnt go well" over and over and over and over. As if that is actually insightful to the industry (it isn't) If you say anything positive to Dropbox, they don't care. They have brainwashed their interview crew to only ask you "if it went wrong" questions for the entirety of the process. If one of their horrible recruiters asks you to do one more chat, after the virtual onsite, and claims it is an informational interview, that is a lie. They will also probably fail to send you the prep sheet on time, and fail to respond at times they commit to doing. Literally the worst recruiting team I have ever experienced. Overall Dropbox isn't the company in interviews that they claim they are with their values. They are a company that has hiring managers that only care about themselves and if you pose a threat to them, you will get weeded out. In my case that did not happen, but I shut them down anyhow. Overall, I would tell people to avoid Dropbox. All you need to do is look at their stock performance over the last few years to realize that they aren't growing because of their horrid hiring process and lack of vision.
