I was asked one detailed technical question (something that one knows, but not something that one thinks about day-to-day) and since I flubbed it, I assume they used that as the basis for rejection.

All of the questions were simple behavioral questions (such as Give an example of a time when X, or What did you do in Y situation, etc), so there really weren't any particularly difficult or off-the-wall questions. Maybe the most thought-provoking question was (paraphrasing): Describe a time when you developed an alternative course of action to solve a problem or to take advantage of an opportunity, and what were your decision criteria?
Describe a difficult problem that you troubleshot. Describe a time when you had difficulty getting a PR out.
