The take home exercise to comment on their AWS infrastructure/architecture was probably the most challenging. It was very open ended with not a lot of detail, additionally I had talked through some of it with the SVP on engineering already. However I found new things and added on to things we had already discussed. It was a tough by fair assessment IMHO.
They asked how would I handle an irate parent.

Additional questions were asked about details on multiple projects and specifics for tools used. Also included questions about team and leadership style, interaction with stakeholders, business involvement, and strategy development.
The interview process was focused on experience, strengths/gaps, and possible scenarios.
Describe an actual time that you faced a difficult client interaction. How did you handle the situation? What was the outcome?
