What is your experience with the Y, if any?
I was not asked to do this but since I started the interviewer has asked the applicant to go walk the floor in the fitness center and interact with the members. Upon return the applicant would be asked who they talked to and what they talked about with the member.
Why do you want to work for the YMCA.
They asked questions about my goals and past experiences. They also asked about future goals.
How would you feel about working weekends?
How do you feel about giving back to the community? The primary purpose of the position is to sell memberships and offer assistance to those in need while promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Asked about my previous managerial background and how I would apply that in the case that any employee conflicts arise.
