Why Gist?
1st Round : HR: Tell us about yourself and your work-related experience. Technical Panelist (TP): Why React? TP: Different between controlled and uncontrolled components. TP: What are Hooks? Why Hooks? TP: 2 coding questions, very very easy if you worked on React. (For the sake of a mystery, I am not telling what the questions are, but trust me, you will get them in no time if you worked on React, even as a novice). For the 2nd round: TP: I can see you have written down that you are also pursuing DP-203 (Data Engineering) certification, tell me why? TP: What is IaaS? How it is different from PaaS? TP: Imagine I am a 6years old kid, explain to me what is Machine Learning. TP: Now, I am a grown-up person with 20 years of IT experience, explain to me what is Machine Learning. HR: If we gave you a job in video analytics, will you do it? (I answered it as no), why? TP: How do you append an array in ReactJS? TP: (Random "finding the output" questions). HR: You are already working in a Core IT Industry, why do you want to join a company whose primary focus is on Steel? HR: Jajpur has no KFC, McD, Fast Food Restaurants, or Shopping Malls, explain to me the reason why you still want to join Tata Steel. HR: What do you do on your weekends?

Technical interview included understanding of AWS, lots of questions around metric driven decision making, and mostly just background experience.
