The questions were straightforward about my experience. Nothing overly difficult. They did seem to focus on their own salary quite a bit during conversations and almost seemed like they were aware and insecure about how low it would be.

The interview was really focused on understanding your background, experiences and overall strengths. They do focus on various competencies but more so want to get to know how you operate, what's important to you, how you work with a team and how you approach/solve problems. Being a team player, valuing ownership and being supportive of others is important. Matching their core values (Golden Rule, Ownership, Innovation) are the foundation of hiring and growing their team.
