The first phone interview was mainly technical: -Tell me about the current technology you work with -What is your favorite product/solution? How does it work? -What are the characteristic of a cloud solution? -Describe how HCI works -Describe how network virtualization works -Assume you are building an scalable website. Describe at high level how would you build this solution For the second stage (the loop), they sent a customer scenario. Basically a CloudFormation template to replicate what the hypothetical customer had built (which was broken), and the scope of the exercise was to make it functional and describe the steps I took to solve it, as well as how to prepare the solution for the future (make it highly available, secure, etc). And produce a document with the answer. The loop: Before this the recruiter contacted me to make sure I understood the process, availability to cover the market for the role, language skills, salary expectation and give me some tips on how to do the interview (use the STAR model, learn and understand the leadership principles, use metrics when answering) During each interview they focus on 2 Leadership Principles.
