Coding and algorithmic questions on LCA, B-Trees, Dynamic programming were asked. As I have chosen Java as my programming language, JVM fundamentals were asked. Besides there were questions about distributed computing, messaging etc., that is relevant to my prior experience.
If you were to implement a scaling server, what are the types of things you'd have to think about.
They asked about my tech stack. And the other questions was based on my tech stack only. Knowledge of Web API was the key requirement.

Programming exercise was good- you had 1:15 hr in XCode to write a simple iOS application with data persistence, implement a shake motion gesture, localize it into french and spanish, and ensure the UI resized correctly. Then you had to write the test cases for your app. All told if you knew what you were doing you should have the basics done in under an hour. From there you can spend the rest of your time making the UI pretty.
