The video interview began with "this is relaxed chat to get to know you" but proceeded into standard scripted interview questions, which I found well intentioned but inconsistent. There was a palpable aversion to the word "criticism" which could have suggested what I would perceive as an overly cautious corporate culture of liability avoidance. This is understandable but I believe it is a net negative from a productivity and development perspective.

Most of the questions were what I expected. I suppose the hardest question was how to deal with employees in a hostile environment since it varies from case to case.
