Have you ever made a mistake?
How have you solved a problem using past work experience?
How have you handled a conflict with associate or customer?
Why applied to our company?
STAR process is stupid and ridiculous, No chance to sell your skills and experience. Just answer the question in the Situation-Task-Action-Result format. And nothing more. Very structured, and interviewers were more concerned about getting back to their jobs than spending any quality time in interview.
Most questions are centered around customer service. Be prepared to give life or work related responses on how you have gone out of your way to help someone or handled a difficult situation.
Many questions on the application and some in the interview require the "corporate" answer. You have strong feelings toward moral situations such as turning in your fellow associates for doing " the wrong thing" whatever that may be. Many people will turn the other cheek and not turn in their fellow associates, but the "corporate correct" answers will most likely be to turn any information about "the wrong thing" to a salaried member of management.
Many "What if" and "What would you do in this situation ...." types of questions (questions meant to ascertain leadership skill, team playing, etc., )
It was a lot of have you reviewed performance and written employee reviews
