Having been in the industry with a competitor there really was not a "difficult or unexpected question". It was really about seeing if there was a personality match and if we could agree on compensation.
How would I handle a co-worker that I had a conflict with?
Why would I want to take a position with their facility?
The one question they had was would I be able to perform the job.
What is one of your weaknesses?
how experience do you have in python?
Photoshop test. It is tough but the work is not as hard. Avg time is around 2:15. Test is harder than day to day work.
First, they asked the standard "Tell us about yourself" question. Later, I was a little surprised that they asked the typical strengths vs. weaknesses, but they did. They inquired about past work experience and how I thought those experiences would help in this position. They wanted to know why I wanted the job.
