Have you ever been involved in a situation where a contractor's employee was not adhering to safety procedures & if so, how did you handle this issue/confrontation. What was the end result? Did you ever work with an employee who was difficult to get along with and how did you handle it? They really didn't throw any curve ball/difficult interview questions my way, the questions were fairly basic/standard knowledge type inquiries.
Nothing was difficult or unexpected because I had thoroughly researched all potential curve-balls.
Orbitz managers will ask you how you would handle specific case scenarios, so be prepared with your answers. They are very concerned about obtaining top talent. I was asked several questions about how I would handle facilities realted emergency scenarios.
ask about my senior project and it takes me some time to explain it
tell me about yourself
I was asked 10 questions. One question was what would you do if a resident called to say that a tap would not turn off?
They presented my compensation package, and told me I'd be making 50 to 60,000 per year. Turns out that was a lie. They set my compensation at 28k a year, and the rest is meant to be made up by my mileage as I'm driving my personal vehicle. If you put in for too much mileage, in their opinion, they scream at you and deny the payment of your mileage. Any parts and tools that you purchase to assist you in doing the job are additionally subject to managerial approval. Your manager will not be someone who comprehends facilities, so explaining it to them is difficult and best, so do not expect to be reimbursed for your purchase of parts or tools. Interviewee beware. They'll tell you whatever they think you want to hear
How do you see your career advancing?
I was told all candidates got the same 10 Qs. Very straight forward and position specific.
