What are your strengths and why
Questions involved my interest/hobbies, why I was interested in working for Garber, and what professional goals I had.
There were both technical and general questions. Like, I asked about explaining Atterberg Limits test (including details), unified soil classification system, proctor test, details on how a proctor test is done, soil compaction testing, concrete testing, what things I thought may go wrong during the testing, how to avoid errors, etc. I was asked about foundation design, slope stability analysis, geotechnical drilling, coring, etc and mainly from the things I had done in my previous company. I have never been asked that type of and that many questions in an interview but it was great. It shook me up and I went back reading my notes. I learnt that I need to learn more, and the way the questions were asked made me want to learn more.
