Why did you apply for this role in our company, and what skills qualify you for the position
They're all pretty typical questions, but I think the most interesting is that the HR coordinator will go through your resume and ask what each former supervisor would rate your work on a scale from 1-10 and why.
They asked very generic and repetitive questions that didn’t justify a six-week process. A few examples: • “Tell me about your IT background and past roles.” • “How do you handle onboarding and offboarding?” • “What’s your experience with security and compliance?” • “Why do you want to work at MinIO?” Nothing original or challenging — just the same basic questions you’d get anywhere. For how long they dragged the process out (including making me meet with the CEO), the questions felt lazy and unorganized.
What do you know about the company.
They asked questions regarding my background, how I would handle certain situations, questions regarding privacy law and IS compliance.
They asked about desired salary, why do i wanna quit my job, what do i know about the company and why do i wanna work there.
