Next Person: Explained the job and training in detail and repeatedly asked me about hard working conditions and lots of travel, whether I wanted to be away from my gf for long periods etc. I found this a little confusing and didn't know how to respond. He then told me they apparently have a problem with people working a few years and then trying to transfer to design or project management type positions.
