Why I was interested in becoming a broadcast captioner.
I was asked by the Ambassador of Iraq to create a documentary video highlighting the Provincial Reconstruction Teams for the U.S. Department of State. This was an enormous task, as I flew to most major city's in Iraq, I was given very little equipment for videoing and editing but I completed before the deadline. I was personally awarded a medal of merit by the U.S. Ambassador from Iraq and General Austin.
Salary was hardest thing to negotiate.
