I was asked about the researches I did while in graduate school and about my duties in a laboratory management job I held after graduation. There were no typical job interview questions.
There were no notably difficult or unexpected questions during my hiring process. I did find the required fingerprinting somewhat offensive on both political and personal/subjective grounds. The college lost at least one good adjunct because of that rule.
I was only really asked one question, and it involved a paper I wrote. The interview was very informal and my resume showed I was qualified. We discussed Shakespeare productions in the general area. My advice would be to know what is on your resume and to be yourself.
