I applied in July for the Principal Analyst position (in the Multi-Commodity Research division) via Linkedin. A month later an employee from HR called me to find out what my salary expectations were. He confirmed that my expectations were in line with their budget. Some weeks later, I asked whether they were still interested in organizing an interview. The same HR employee called me to tell me that there had been a problem (?) with my application and they would have organized an interview. Two months after I applied, the interview with the hiring manager (VP of Scenarios and Technologies) was organized. We discussed the role and my profile and he described the interview process, which would include a second interview in front of a panel and a presentation of mine. He also told me that the reason it took them two months to organize the videocall was the fact, that their candidate of choice rejected the offer the very last moment. The interview went well and the VP seemed to be interested in proceeding with the next round. Never was I contacted again. My e-mail requesting information after some weeks was left unanswered.
