VMware Developer interview questions

I applied through Linkedin, in several days a recruiter contacted me to schedule initial screening with a developer. At the screening interview they asked really basic questions, after the interview I didn't get any response and was thinking that I'm rejected. After 3 weeks the recruiter asked me for a power day with 3 tech interviews. At the interviews the people were nice but they were not interested in asking me questions I was left with the impression that they have filled up the position and wasn't sure why do they schedule interviews when the position is filled - just reject the interview and save 3 hours for everyone. After that day I didn't got any response I sent several mails to the recruiter - no response. It was really strange interview with no communication from their side.
