Would not recommend - interviewer had a very strong accent, could barely understand my answers; company seems very much driven by Mainland China team including working hours and culture. They also seem to interview whoever they can get on Linkedin but so far haven't heard of anyone who actually got the role.
The General screening with hr person was about my background and experience. Then she explained what the formats of the following rounds of interviews which would be MBB case studies.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (London, England) in Dec 2023
Interview
First round - 30 min informal call with recruiter. Basic questions.
Second round - 1 hour case study call. Given data and asked to explain how you would approach the issue.
Third round - 1 hour with team lead. Questions on experience and skill set.
Fourth round - interview with head of department. Long term career aspirations. Value you can bring.
Found the entire process chaotic and a little odd. Interviewees were late to meetings. Questions were scripted and unnatural. No feedback given after the process. They even mentioned the bad reviews on Glassdoor and told me not to take them into consideration. I didn’t even know about them at that point but I’m so thankful I checked. 5 days in the office is compulsory
