I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (San Jose, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
2 rounds. I would say that both were very similar in structure. Mostly talk about your experience and some behavioral questions. The first interview was great. In the second round, I felt like the interviewer wasn't as chill, and we didn't vibe at all. Which kinda affected my performance.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at TikTok in Apr 2021
Interview
I interviewed with them for over three months. First got l contacted by a recruiter in April and got a rejection early July. They were long lulls in between 4 different interviews. The recruiter was very difficult to get a hold of. At the end of it all the recruiter made it sound like I got the job saying hey I want to talk to you can we talk next week? I excepted thinking I was going to get an offer. When we hop on the call video call for some reason, he not only told me that I didn’t get the job but he also had no feedback for me so that call was useless. I even asked can I have some feedback and he flat out said no I’m not going to give you that. He did however say that you can contact me for any other jobs you’re interested in a Tiktok but I’ve messaged him three different jobs and I’ve gotten no response from him.
